This regular occurence is the story behind this image:
Relatively speaking, this rickety table is A PERMANENT FIXTURE.
And there are in addition two permanent fixtures next to a double regular occurence at an adjacent lucrative hot-spot, belonging to another grandfather – a friend:
First the daytime permanent fixture and site of the daylight-hours regular occurrence, naturally now occupied; notice that even though the previous grandfather had not yet unpacked all his wares when the last photo was taken, it’s quite clear that the capacity of the second grandfather is much more up-market than the first:
Then there is as well: the night-time permanent fixture which will be brought to life when the sun sets:
Both grandfather friends are physically incapacitated: the up-market man suffered polio as a child and ever after uses crutches or stick to get around, while the first man is forced at the snail-pace of his old age to take tiny little steps.
Nevertheless each of these men enjoy the twilight of their convivial lives regularity manning their humble enterprise on the verge of the lucrative pilgrim path around the holy hill.
Allahu’Akbar! Kaduvala nambum!
